please help

can some one help me ? i'm trying to start my computer and
i get this message:windows could not start because the
following files are missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
i do not know what to do to start it please some one help
me to start my computer at least at safe mode and take it
from there.
