My computer keeps unexpectedly crashing for no apparent
reason. One minute it will be working fine, the next, it
will suddenly stop working. The mouse freezes, nothing
responds (not even the CAPS LOCK/NUM LOCK keys work).
The only way to get out of it is to press the reset
button, but I know this is damaging. I can't even defrag
it as it stops during that. I don't want to have to
format it if i can help it. Does anyone have any ideas
on what i should do. Is there any settings or files that
may need updating. Or can i find out anywhere if it is
any of my drivers which need updating?? I have Norton
2003 which is updated for known bugs but the virus
checker says the computer is clean. Thanks in advance
