I need to delete this win-xp upgrade (SP2) Q811493 - I have no
add/remove button in the add/remove programs, so I must do this somehow
manually....

I don't want to reinstall windows XP or reformat my PC...... can I
somehow do it through the registry??

Any other suggestions???

When you hit 'reply' to email me, you must "Take out the TRASH...." or
your email
will bounce back to you..."

Didn't it make a restore point when you were installing SP2?

If so maybe running the restore point will do what you need.

in add/remove programs, tick the box at the top that says show updates and
it, along with all updates acquired for it will appear.
