Can't get cd burner working

i had to replace motherboard and reinstall windows, but i
can not get my creative labs cd burner working. It seems
like everything recognizes the burner as a cdrw but when
you try and use windows media player to burn a cd it
says no device found. PLEASE HELPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Under WMP->Tools->Options->Devices, does it list your CD-RW drive? If so,
does the Properties page indicate recording capability (Copy as either
Digital or Analog)? Perhaps Digital or Analog is not selected, or maybe the
selection is wrong? Just guessing.
