DVD+RW drive question question

Hey, my computer has the phillips dvd+rw-d28 cd drive. I
was trying to make a dvd on a dvd-r blank disc. But when
i put it in the drive, it says ther isnt a cd in the
drive. Whats with this and how can i fix it?

You'll have to use a DVD+RW or +R disc for your dvd writer.
