Backup problem...

I carried out a format on ME system and loaded XP pro.
I backed up address book and email messages on cdrw
but when I try to import them I keep getting a message saying an error has
occured during the process.

Copy them to an empty folder on the hard drive.
Remove the Read Only attribute.
Then import them.
