Unable to get new update

When erver I XP Pro gets the update and then restarts the
computer it can't continue. It restarts at the Advanced
startup screen and the only way I can reboot is to
restart at Last Known Good configuration.

Any suggestions?

Try installing the update from the Windows Update Catalog.
