My Fujitsu C Series laptop, running XP, can not enter
standby. The error msg is: "The device driver for
the 'Lucent Technolgies Soft Modem AMR' device is
preventing the machine from entering stanby. Please
close all apps and try again. If the problem persists,
you may need to update this driver."

The driver is the updated and Fujitsu can not solve the
problem. Can anyone here?

(I don't normally use the modem; I'm on a cable for
that. But I will use dial-up when traveling).

Hi Walter,

Try a rollback to an earlier driver version.
