My monitor for some reason doesn't start right away. I have to re-start the
computer to get it to come on. Any solutions?
Thanks

After what? Could you describe the sequence of events starting with
everything switched off...
It this what is happening...
1) You turn computer on
2) You turn monitor on
3) Nothing appears on the monitor
4) You turn off power to the computer (or do you restart it another way?)
5) You see things on the monitor.
.... or we talking about the monitor being blank after you haven't used the
PC for a while (eg power saving modes?)
Is the monitor power lead plugged into the outlet on the computer or a wall
socket of it's own?

Hi Paula,
Bad video card? Do you have a spare monitor that you could swap in to =
check?
