Double check. Put a check mark for 'disable script debugging' REMOVE check mark for 'display a notification'.

Hi,

You can turn off script debugging from Internet
Options/Advanced and check the box to Disable script
debugging. You can get to Internet Options from the
Tools menu while Internet Explorer is running or by right-
clicking on the Internet Explorer icon on the Desktop and
choosing Properties.

Hi Julian,
You aren't alone. There are many others facing the same issue. The common
glue has not be found as of yet, though.
For some this registry edit has helped:
Disable the Script Debugger in IE (Line 142)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
That said and this is a different type of debug issue, but may apply in your
case. Check your settings here:
Start/Run/Msconfig/Boot.ini: The last line should end with "/fastdetect".
If /debug is listed, delete it.

Do you have AdsGone installed and have the show script errors checked? I had
the same problem, every time I unchecked show script errors in IE Tools it
would be rechecked on reboot. Took a while to find the problem.
