When logging in to a user account in winxp there is a
small window which says: "computer must have hardware
monitor chipset."
What does this mean and how do I rectify the problem?

If the login otherwise works, I would guess that the user is trying to
load a program like Motherboard Monitor at startup, and not finding
the right hardware ports.
