I've got a minor problem with trying to adjust any system
properties. I've got like 6 things stuck on IRQ9 and
can't adjust any of them. I've tried to do just about
everything to get to them, they're all locked out.. the
select tile is just darkened up, with no opportunity to
select anything within the system configuration. any help
would be greatly appreciated.

If you are not having problems with your system why are you
worried that "6 things" are stuck on IRQ9?
Winxp controls irq assignment and about the only thing you
can do about it is to change pci slots of your cards but maybe
even that won't give you the desired results.
I have more than one device on several irqs and my system
works just fine. "IRQ Sharing" was developed for a reason.......
so that devices could "share" irqs as long as the cards/devices
support irq sharing.

Windows XP controls the resources much better than you or I ever could.
Leave it alone!
