I have XP on this cpu, ME on another, and 98se on another. none of them have
any trouble with the home network except this one.

IT knows there is a computer but won't let me access it. Says I'm denied
access. I have double checked all the settings for shared access, passwords,
etc. It doesn't allow me to input any passwords.

I even shut off zonealarm, norton AV, and all the programs in my start file.
Any clues?

Also I'm looking for someone who know how I can take my old Micron and turn
it into a slave, basically for drive storage ,RAID, and print server. I
would like to be able to do all the setup and monitoring of it from my new
computer and do completely away with the monitor, mouse, etc. from the
micron. Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
tHAT

Or try the networking group here:
