I mistakenly loaded XP on my computer twice (2 different
areas). Now, every time I start my computer, it asks me
which version I want to open. Is it possible to get rid of
the one that I don't want?
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob,

Sure it is. Boot to the one you do want. Open Windows Explorer and =
delete any system folders from the unwanted one. Then edit boot.ini (a =
hidden system file on the root of the boot partition) and remove the =
reference to it. You can also do this by editing the startup settings on =
the advanced tab of system properties in the Control Panel.
