Is there a way to customize the places bar that is used
by most programs when searching for files to open? I've
found all the KB's for customizing the places bar in
office. Almost every other program I use has the exact
same places bar and it must get this setting from
someplace (registry?).

Can anyone tell me how to customize the default places
bar used with non-office programs?
