I recently upgraded from ME to XP Home. My machine is currently FAT32;
should I switch to NTFS? Knowledge Base articles recommend NTFS for any
drive >200M which I think is the overwhelming majority of systems nowadays.

Should you?
That's a matter of personal preference, there's no reason you can't =
continue using FAT32. If you want to take advantage of the security =
features of NTFS, then by all means convert! Personally, I prefer NTFS =
as well, the file system is less prone to errors (but by no means is it =
perfect). Read these articles on the file systems and on converting, =
then make your own decision:
