Hi ,

I have a motherboard as below:

M810LMR PC CHIPS.

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 (build 2600)
Asset Tag: 0123ABC

10.25 Gigabytes Usable Hard Drive Capacity
4.38 Gigabytes Hard Drive Free Space

SAMSUNG CD-ROM SC-152L
3.5" format removeable media [Floppy drive]

ExcelStor Technology CT210 [Hard drive] (10.26 GB) -- drive 0

Bus Clock: 66 megahertz
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 062710 07/15/97

240 Megabytes Installed Memory

The screen turns black or grey with flashing characters random on screen
every now and then. Any ideas why?

Sounds like it's either your graphics card or monitor that is faulty.
