Hi,

What kind of mouse you are using?
Usually mouse is connected to PS/2 or USB port, not Com 2.

Serial mice connect to com ports.

To the OP: if your program requires the use of both physical com ports,
that's all you have, unless you've installed an extra serial card. If you
just need to use the assignments of 1 & 2, you might be able to change the
assignment in the bios.

But if it needs to use both com ports, one would imagine you're plugging
something in to both com ports, in which case, you'd have nowhere to plug
the mouse into anyway...and if you're not plugging anything in to both
ports, how is the program "using" them.

So, I'm curious...what program is this, anyway?
