Two Messenger Icons in System Tray

I have two Messenger Icons in my System Tray. They both appear to be Version 6.1 (6.1.0211). One says it's signed in and the other says not signed in. Can someone tell me how to get rid of one of them - I think the 2nd one appeared after I updated the v
ersion recently.
