adding com ports

Does windows XP support simple 2 or 4 serial port PCI
expansion cards, as in NT I had to get a rocketport which
cost loads and is no longer supported( it is ISA). I want
to add a couple of 2 port cards to give me 6 serial ports
in total. Will XP see these ports?

You can get an external port that will connect via USB.

Yes, provided that they are pci, ( there are pci serial ports, )
and provided that they are xp compatible. Read the box
before purchasing.
