I'm sorry, but I should have said this earlier; I
installed Lindows through the bios - using the boot from
cd option, and Windows XP Pro has since failed to even
recognize that partition, even though it is on one
physical disk. it's like Windows thinks that my disk is
8GB smaller than when I first installed XP, and Lindows
won't recognize that it is installed on a small partition
of a 102GB disk either. the respective OSs think that
they are on their own seperate HDDs, BUT Lindows gives me
the option of starting from "HDA-1" whatever that means,
and then my system begins to boot XP normally.
I want it so that I don't have to be their to select that
option, but power on and boot straight to XP.

Thank you, though

Boot the Windows XP installation CD and run the recovery console. Then
execute the fixmbr command. This should allow you to boot directly to
XP. Then right click on My Computer and select Manage. Click on Disk
Management and delete the Lindows partition.
