I keep getting run-around, hope someone out there can
help me! I just bought a new Sony Vaio Desktop PCV-RS530G
Desktop and upgraded to 19 inch flat monitor ViewSonic
VX900. We did add on Altec Lansing Surround Sound
Speaker. Installed everything and old microphone I had
from other system didn't work, so bought new Labtec 524.
Did all the tweeks and settings. It says everything is
working on my end with my mic. The lines go up and down
when I talk, and it appears all is well. I go online to
play cribbage with my uncle and we "voice chat" msn
messenger and he can't hear me. I can hear him fine, he
can't hear a word I am saying. I called Sony, they said
all was ok on their end, called my network provider, all
ok there, re-installed msn, no go, I am totally out of
things to try. I bought this to spend some time online
with my uncle that lives 300 miles away. Now I can't even
do that! I have checked and re-checked. Any help would
be very much appreciated!
