I think you may need to sort out your settings for
Outlook:
Have you checked through Tools/Options/ Mail
delivery/mail account options and the rest of that tab -
you may have it set so that the messages are not being
checked for.
You don't say who your ISP / mail provider is. Go to
their site and access your mailbox from there. Theere is
probably something in options (or similar) which allows
Office to dowmload the emails, at what interval etc.
this may not be set up appropriately and may need
changing.
