I have tried to install netBEUI in Windows XP without
success. I have followed all advices ie copy both files
in the chosen directories, copy directly from the XP disc
to no avail. There is no sign of netBEUI being
recognised.

Can anyone help?

Regards to all

Does the *install* fail? Or does it install, but you have no confirmation
it *is* installed, so you're calling that a "failed install"? If it's
installed, it will show up in the Local Area Connections properties dialog,
you saying after installing from VALUEADD\MSFT\NET on CD, it's NOT listed as
an item under Local Area Connections?? Never heard of that happening
before, it's a trivial install frankly. Any error messages?

You didn't follow all of the instructions. After copying files
to the appropriate folder you then have to find the netnbf.inf file
in the Inf folder, right-click it and click on Install.

You may also want to consider taking a remedial course in reading
and absorbing detail.
