Restart the computer and go into setup during the boot
process. Depending on your BIOS, you may have to press F2
or DEL to enter the BIOS update.
Once inside the BIOS settings, go into the area called
something like Power Configuration Options. In there you
should find something to the affect of 'Last state upon
loss of power' or 'Restart state upon loss of power'.
Change this setting and see if you get a better experience.
