I had the same problem with a scanner. I called the
company that made and they stated that they didnt make a
windows xp driver for my scanner. My scanner wasnt a
bigname company product like Hewlett Pachard or anything,
so that may be the problem. try contacting their company
or web site to see if a driver has been made available.
