Agp GEForce 2 Graphic card being reconised as PCI under DXDIAG

Hi all ,
Please i have this problem with my GEFORCE2 nvidia MX400
Graphic card under WinXP.

I have a ASUS A7A266 motherboard and a GEFORCE 2 NVIDIA
AGP GRAPHICS card which is only being recognised as a pci
and AGP textures in direct x being therefore disabled or
greyed. I went to the ALI support site and this article
refers. I did this and it failed.

AGP Troubleshooting Guide

Why can't I enable AGP under WinXP/Win2000 with ALi M1647
platform ? or Why is it that my M1647's performance using
Nvidia VGA card is poor?
Nvidia driver 27.XX ( and later version) will disable the
M1647 AGP function on all Nvidia VGA card under WinXP and
Win2000.
To solve this issue, please follow the procedure below:

1) If you are using TNT2 ,Geforce256, Geforce 2 GTS,
Geforce 2 Ultra, and Geforce 2 MX (200/400)

Under WinXP and SP1, we recommend you use Windows Inbox
VGA driver or Nvidia Detonator driver 23.11.
Under Win 2000 , we recommend you use Nvidia Detonator
driver 23.11.

I have got the NVIDIA 23.11 driver and this has failed,
the other windows one i do not know how and where to find.

Anyone else had this problem...

The AGP bus is an extension of the PCI bus. Most/all AGP video boards are
seen as PCI in device manager, system information and by directx.

But why is the agp textures acceleration disabled,greyed
out.

That happened to me once, many moons ago, when using Windows XP - release
candidate 1.

I had to redo my system from a "clean" state in order to make it right!
