When I opened My Documents today, the names of the
subfolders do not appear. I have them displayed as
thumbnails. When I switch to icon, tile, or details view,
the names of the folders still appear/ Can't seem to find
the problems when checking folder options. The folders
within the subfolders are norml still and show the
folder/filenames

(Running XP)

Hi Ian,

Switch back to any other view other than thumbnails. Thereafter, hold down
the Shift key and switch to the thumbnail view. The file/folder name should
re-appear now.
