View Full Version : Task bar

I am running Windows XP and have successfully managed to
hide all my inactive task bar items except one - "Local
Area Connection" - which always appears when I boot up
even though I always select Always Hide on the task bar
customize menu.

Would anybody have any idea how I can either stop this
from happening, or better still delete this icon from the
task bar? I'm using broadband so I don't really need it
anyway.

Many thanks,

Brian Hurst

Hi Brian,

Right click Net Work Places/Properties/Local Area Connection and uncheck
Show icon in notification area.
