speakers

my speakers are plug in to the power outlet & both
speakers are plug into each other & both speakers are
plug into the tower, but both speakers doesn't have any
sound, but a popping sound. also have went into the
control panel all items are unmuted, so there should be
sound. What is our problem.

maybe at the tower you have it plug into the wrong spot, like into the mic
hole or input. i have seen some system not put out sound because some took
the cd to soundcard cable out.
