Photo Story 2 - Corrupt .psc files

I purchased the Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition to
create picture slide shows. The first one went okay but
every show that I create with more than 50 photos's and
then save the project file (the .psc file), the project
file gets corrupted. At least thats what Photo Story 2
says when I try to reopen the file when I want to make
changes. The video files are fine.

Any ideas? I have a P4 3.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM, 2 160 GB
drives and an ATI 9200 video card running XP SP1.
