i dont knnow if i can help at all!! But, i have had the
same problems with my Brand new computer which has Xp-
proffesional- I hav been advised that Xp is such a
intelligemnt program that it will actually fix itself
automatically- i had new ram installed after it was
crashing 5-10 time daily and losing all my work- It
happened in every program- After installing a new scanner
driver it started to happen again- Have you installed any
new drivers, hardware, programs ect just before this
happened? If so, it might be worth checking whether it is
Xp compatable- try uninstalling then reinstalling
whatever was added. Also, it might sound a bit far
fetched but turn off your computer for a day or so this
will allow the self fixing. Also, ,i have been toold by
computer experts that Xp- home is not as efficient at
fixing itself as the proffesional system. im sure youve
checked already , but do you have anti- virus software?
if not try downloading a free antivirus system. i found
mine on via the Froggy site- under VIRUS, Security &
Sca, Alerts then go to "Click here to view Anit-
Virus vendors- You will see many free & cheap anti- crus
software that you can download instantly. this may or may
not fix the problem but its worth a shot.

i hope ive been some help- good luck.
