HI i tryed to instal a router on my pc and it dident display the network options and the teck person told me i needed to re instal xp so i tryed and it wont finish its just stoped a the part were i needs 33 minuts to finish can any one help me ?

Hi,

The tech person gave you bad advice - at worst you probably need to install
some network protocols. The problem now is that you may have no way out
besides a clean installation. What happens if you try booting the system
without the installation CD? Are you able to access Safe mode? Or try the
last known good configuration?
