I don't know if this is a PC problem or if it can be corrected within
Windows XP. Sometime my CD drives cannot be read. I have two drives: D: DVD
and E: Writable. Sometime one drive (and sometimes both) will tell me there
is no CD inserted or if I try to open it from "My Computer" it will show a
blank screen, as if CD contains no files. Now, today drive D is working fine
but drive E won't read and I've tried both data AND music CD's. If I would
reboot my computer it would work but I normally leave my PC on 24/7 except
turn it off once or twice a week, just to give it a rest! This is really the
only computer problem I have right now (luckily) but it's annoying and
happens at the most inconvenient of times. I tried searching the web but
couldn't find much so far. Any advice? Thanks, Ed
