Java script enabled

I have been trying to set up online banking with
Natwest,i have all my security info. and tried to
register and the told me to go to microsoft as this runs
Java script enabled and i can't seem to get it.
I am new to computing,and at 56 i suppose i am
a bit thick=PLEASE HELP ME with info how to get natwest
online banking.
