windows thinks my hard drive is 1/2 size

i installed an 80GB Western Digital hard drive into a
computer i just built. after i installed windows it said
my hard drive only had 31GB on it (disk management says
it has basic partition and NTFS). how will i be able to
get all 80GB to show up?

Sounds like on the install you chose fat32, Redo the install including the
format and choose NTSF, you will then get the full capacity of the drive
