Start up screen

I have recently installed a parts catalogue programme on
my desktop, now when I boot up it stops booting until I
cancel the message that tells me to wait at least two
mins before running this programme, afterwards it boots
ok, this occurs just as the blue windows xp screen
appears, how do I get rid of this?, uninstalling the
progamme does not remove it, I am running on a 1700+
athalon and 500mgb ram and 40gig harddrive
