For weeks I was going crazy with Error Event 32003, also
Ipnathlp, and I presented it to the Dell Community Forum.
The error message reads: "The Network Address Translator
(NAT) was unable to request an operation of the kernel-
mode translation module. This may indicate
misconfiguration, insufficient resources, or an internal
error. The data is in the code." All this began when a
tech from Dell had me pull a the USB cable to the printer
when doing yet another system restore. I recently learned
that the port is now broken. In the meantime,
unfortunately, I, a computer novice, tried every wizard
and configuration I could find to get my printer working.
So, the man at Dell told me to disable internet sharing
and told me how to do it. It worked. Unfortunately, I
now have constant Error Event 31012, also ipnathlp, "The
DNS proxy agent encountered an error while obtaining the
list of name resolution servers. Some DNS or WINS servers
may be inaccessible to clients on the local network. The
ata is the error code." I should mention I have only had
this Windows XP for two months. I am the only user. I
connect by dial up to AOL and to one printer. That is
it. Please help. Dell folks in India want to give my
computer a full lobotomy for this problem--debug and
reinstall and I lose all my files. Thank you.

It sounds like you have ICS enabled on your computer.

If you don't need it, I'd suggest you find the network adaptor that it is
enabled on and disable it
If you do need it, I'd suggest you find the network adaptor that it is
enabled on, disable it, then re-enable it so that all the proper files and
registry entries can be re-loaded.

Select "run" from start menu "type" services.msc, find and doubleclick
"workstation" and "server"

change them to disabed instead of automatic.

not needed on a dial-up system. I have them disabled XP PRO and my ethernet
dsl.
