Folder View Default

How do I set the folder view default to List/Details? I'm not about to go
through every folder and change this setting.

Configure the current folder the way you want them all to appear. Select
Tools/Folder Options/View tab and click the "Apply to all folders" button.

After setting the desire view, select menu Tools | Folder options; select
View tab and click 'Apply to All Folders' button and OK. This will make the
current view setting as the default for all the folders.
