I and others like me have been having problems with a
conflicting driver AFS2K.SYS loaded when installing hp
products. For me it has been during the installation of a
hp scanjet model 3570c. If interested, check google
listing for "AFS2K.sys" The driver's point of origin is
Oak Technology which to date has not acknowledged the
problem, nor has hp. Although this is really a software
problem, I am unable to use my scanner without causing a
system crash of my windowsxp operating system. Any
corrective action would be appreciated to all of us
involved. thank you
