I have a PC with a ASUS A7N266 motherboard with a built in
sound card (NVIDIA) and running Nero 5.5.10.28 and a
registered version of Nero Wave Editor. I am trying to put
all my vynil to disc and when I started the recording
level was off the scale, so opened volume control (Progs-
Acces-Entertainement) and found that the line in control
only worked on speaker volume. After searching I found
another volume control called "Record" with 3 controls on
it and this set the line in volume on recording. then
after a few days it dissapeared. At that time I was useing
a AOPEN sound card (Yamaha AW744 and I was sure the
control was there) so I uninstalled sound card and
associated progs and reactivated on board sound card to
see if line in worked- but no control. then installed
sound card media but still no control.
Has anyone any idea if the recording control is on XP home
or was it on the AOPEN card media.
Second question is how do you split the tracks once one
side of disc is recorded??
For email reply replace dash after loss with a dot.
Thanks for any help
