Hi,
I just got my Dell laptop D600 with bluetooth enabled and
am trying to configure my bluetooth mouse to work but seem
to be having problems, the problem is that it is not being
detected, can anyone please help.

Hi, Sabirali.
As I just told Ulrik (two posts after yours), perhaps you need to press the
Connect Channel buttons on your mouse and on the sending unit. As I told
Ulrik, I don't have Bluetooth, but I sometimes have to do this for my
cordless mouse and keyboard.

Hi R.C. White,
Thanks for the response, I have tried pressing the button
under the mouse but the device gets recognised but not
properly, the system tells me that there is a mouse that
has been discovered but the system tells me that there are
no services running.
Any ideas ?
Rgds,
Sabi

Hi
Assuming you have a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse....
Are you using the Dell built-in bluetooth facility or the Microsoft
bluetooth adaptor to connect the mouse?
As I understand it, some hardware manufacturers have not yet included the
necessary HID profiles with their hardware to enable full connectivity and
this may be the source of your problem.
You have two choices, either disable the built-in bluetooth and use the
Microsoft supplied adaptor... or look on the Dell website for an update for
the built-in bluetooth facility. If there is no update available yet, you
will probably have to stick with the MS adaptor until that happens.
Hope that helps
Pete
