Marscore.dll problems

I am hoping someone here can help me with this as it is
driving me crazy...

My OS is Windows XP Home Edition. It came with my
computer when I bought it a year ago.

Everything has been fine up until now. My system Restore
has stopped working (I cannot access it at all) when I
try to get into my System Information or Help and
Support, a little box comes up saying "marscore.dll not
found"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
