What kind of RAM?

I know that I have DDR RAM inside the computer. Short of taking off the
cover, how can I determine whether it's 2100 or higher? Also, is it OK to
mix DDR with faster DDR RAM modules?

AIDA32 or BelArc Advisor can tell you what type of memory
(and a whole lot more) you have. There is also a program
called Sandra.
