standby problem

Sometimes...not always, when I want to "wake up" my
computer from "standby" mode, my mouse is non-functional
and I have to reboot. What's the problem here? Any
ideas?

The problem is a non-compliant mouse driver. See if there is an update =
available from the manufacturer.
