Best Defrag??

Just was wondering....has anyone done a comparison of defrag utilities to
determine which one is "best" (e.g. algorithm used, efficiency, etc.). I
have been using Norton's "Speed Disk", assuming it is better than the
plain-vanilla defrag routine bundled with Windows.

Diskeeper seems to be promising from its list of features. I tried diskeeper
lite on windows server 2003 RC2 and it wouldnt work correctly and also it
wouldnt return my windows xp pro standard defrag files when i uninstalled it
from xp pro. This was probably due to me stuffing up somewhere.

They have a comparison list of the various features of diskeeper and windows
disk defragmenter.

How did you uninstall Diskeeper. Your problem seem to have been =
encountered by a number of users! Perhaps Diskeeper should come with a =
health warning. I could not find a support / advice page on their web =
site!
