Is it possible to remove desktop icons for one windows
user on a computer with multiple users without affecting
other user accounts? If so, how? Thank you for any help.

The desktop icons (excluding the special icons) are built from the two =
locations:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop - Common to all profiles
&
C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Desktop - Private
Anything added/deleted in the latter, current profile is alone affected.
