My brother has the same problem with his new PC. He has
XP with a MSI motherboard and a added Soundblaster Live
5.1 Digital card. He has had the card checked and it is
fine.
I think it a driver problem or a problem with the BIOS
for the Motherboard.
What are your PC's specs?
