no sound after installing xp

I recently had xp installed and now i do not have sound
from my speakers. Previously I did. HELP!!!!! AND they
are hooked up right.

Did you perform a clean install or an upgrade, can you provide that
info and also type of pc and model that you have

Look for updated winxp drivers for your sound card at the site of the mfr of
your sound card.
