Question..
Whenever I start my computer up, lately it has not been
detecting my CD-RW drive. However, after restarting a few
times, it detects it. I'm running windows XP pro on a
compaq presario.
Any ideas?

Hello
Verify your jumper setting in your system bios and also go
inot your bios and make sure that setting are correct, also you
may have a defective cd-rw drive, that is possible

Basic check, make sure all the wires and cables are firmly
attached.
